Pantone has traditionally announced their colour of the year, which this time is Greenery! A refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings. It's a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew.
Here are some of the ways we'll be injecting a bit of green to our interiors this year:
Using actual greenery! Plants and flowers are the easiest way to bring the colour in. They also purify the air and add a relaxed feeling. Plus they are just incredibly pretty! MyDomaine has a great article on which plants to pick and how to take care of them.
Add a bit of green with tableware. It's just enough to introduce the colour to the interior without it being overbearing. Greenery is also a great colour to mix & match as it goes with neutrals and brights as well as metallics and deeper shades.
The boldest of choices! Why not use a wallpaper full of greenery. One wall should do the trick. Choose botanical inspired ones like palm leaves or a clever graphic patterns to break up all the green.
