We first saw tableware by Sabato at the Maison & Objet show in September and it was love at first sight. The whimsical illustrations immediately caught our eye and made the series really stand out. Besides being a good product, we love that there is also a great story behind the brand.

The tableware series is a collaboration between Japanese design studio Drill and the illustrator Aoi Huber, who's cheerful and unique drawings are inspired by nature and animals.

Sabato Tableware Ceramics

The name of the brand “Sabato” means Saturday in Italian. Saturday is the end of the weekdays and the beginning of the weekend. Sabato hopes that the relaxing time, which undoubtedly Saturday is, will become even more special with the brand. And why not make that feeling last throughout the whole week...
